Pentecost Special Offering: This Sunday & next.  Contributions are used to help establish new churches. 

Blood Drive:  This Sunday, May 20^th from 12-4pm we are sponsoring our annual Spring/Summer blood drive in memory of Dr. Jim Daily.  I like to think of this event as a Celebration of his life and a tribute to his selflessness.  He constantly have of himself (time,  money, prayers, etc…) to help others.  What a better way to help someone else than to give the gift of life!  Dr. Daily actually received blood during his last time spent in the hospitals also. So, please consider coming out this Sunday from 12-4:00 pm to donate blood in memory of this dear man!  All donors will be fed, AND every donor will receive a $5 Subway gift card!  If you’d like to pre-schedule your donation appointment, you can do so by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or you can contact Kasey Shue (252) 531-6778.  Our goal is to collect a minimum of 25 units of blood!

Youth Meeting: 3:30 this Sunday.  Next Sunday (May 27) youth will meet at 4:30 for a Bible lesson about baptism, then move to the sanctuary for the baptism of Cheryl Loar at 5:00 p.m.  A reception will follow in Beland Hall.

Scholarship Applications are due this Sunday, May 20.

CMF/CWF meet Monday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Beland Hall.

Youth camps at Camp Caroline begin June 15 (registration required). Jamie will mail forms on May 22.

Cabinet Meeting: This coming Tuesday, May 22, at 7:00 in Beland Hall.

Backpack Pals: Volunteers are needed to help pack backpacks on Thursday evenings at 6:00.  See Jamie Haddock for details.

Graduation Information Needed: If you or someone in the church family, are graduating from high school, college or grad school, please give the church office their name, school they are graduating from, degree, and future plans.

Youth Fall Fundraiser - Sept. 15: Proceeds to be used to send youth to camp, go on mission and Christian educational trips, purchase curriculum for Sunday evening youth meetings, and to purchase supplies for Worship & Wonder, the nursery, VBS, and Fall Festival.  The days's schedule includes a morning yard sale, bbq chicken lunch, silent auction & live auction.  Many volunteers are needed.  Please help support the youth by volunteering and/or donating items to sell/auction.
